Charleston County Environmental Management is seeking a safety-minded individual who enjoys outdoor work, helping the public, and delivering outstanding customer service at the Edisto Convenience Center. The position is open until filled, with a hiring hourly range of $15.00 to $16.96.

Duties include opening/closing the center, working Mon-Sat 7:30am–6pm, keeping the center and surroundings clean, and lifting up to 35 pounds.

Qualificações

• Must have and maintain a valid South Carolina driver's license with safe driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience in dealing with the public / customer service.
• Minimum education of 8th grade or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Open and close the convenience center on schedule (7:30am–6pm, Mon–Sat).
• Maintain cleanliness of the center and surrounding areas.

Description

Charleston County Environmental Management is looking for a highly motivated, safety-minded individual who likes working outdoors, assisting members of the general public, providing outstanding customer service and performing a variety of tasks at our convenience centers.

This employee’s primary site will be at Edisto Convenience Center.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.96

OPEN UNTIL FILLED – APPLICATION REVIEW BEGINS IMMEDIATELY

Duties and Responsibilities

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
• One (1) year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service
• Ability to present a positive attitude when dealing with the residents of Charleston County

• Work a flexible schedule from 7:30am-6pm Mon- Sat
• Ensuring the timely opening and closing of assigned convenience center
• Maintaining convenience center and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris.

Minimum Qualifications

Position requires an 8th grade education OR any equivalent combination of training and work experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.
