Charleston County Environmental Management is seeking a safety-minded, customer-focused individual to work outdoors at the Bees Ferry Convenience Center. The role involves interacting with residents, providing friendly service, and performing a variety of tasks at our convenience centers.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record.
• One year of experience in dealing with the public / Customer Service.
• Position requires the employee to reach and push with hands and arms; stand; use hands to handle, feel, grasp or operate objects, tools or controls; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; use mental acuity and repetitive motion; and walk, talk and hear.
• Flexible schedule from 7:30am-6pm Mon-Sat.
• Maintaining convenience center and surrounding areas are clean and free of debris.
• 8th grade education or equivalent training and work experience.

HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $15.00 - $16.96

•Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for South Carolina with safe driving record
•The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
•One (1) year of experience in dealing with the public/ Customer Service
•Ability to present a positive attitude when dealing with the residents of Charleston County
•This position requires the employee to reach and push with hands and arms; stand; use hands to handle, feel,
grasp or operate objects, tools or controls; sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel,
crouch, or crawl; use mental acuity and repetitive motion; and walk, talk and hear.
