Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. in Scranton, PA seeks a skilled Controls Technician to support and maintain electrical, automation, and control systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

You will install, troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks, while partnering with maintenance, operations, engineering, and MES teams. The ideal candidate has experience with industrial automation, electrical systems, and manufacturing settings, with a proactive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and machine controls.
• Experience with industrial automation tools such as PLCs, HMIs, MES is preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with MES and networking is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot electrical and controls systems for manufacturing equipment.
• Verify proper operation of control systems, wiring, safety circuits, and interlocks.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC/HMI issues to minimize downtime.
• Modify, download, and maintain PLC/HMI programs with version control.
• Update firmware and document changes.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics and system drawings.
• Provide 24/7 technical support for automation systems.
• Collaborate with MES team to manage program versions and improvements.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance on equipment.
• Troubleshoot industrial networks and coordinate with IT.
