Qualifications

• 2–3 years of industrial electrical and automation experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Associate degree in industrial electrical technology or E&I journeyman certification preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety procedures, work instructions, and documenting maintenance activities clearly.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in loud, confined spaces; off-shift work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical and automation systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, controls, and automation issues, including PLCs, networks, drives, and safety devices
• Support equipment improvements through control changes and system upgrades
• Assist mechanics and operators with diagnosing control-related problems
• Write, modify, and maintain moderate to complex control programs
• Maintain system backups and up-to-date electrical schematics and documentation
• Participate in planned shutdowns, electrical distribution work, and capital or major maintenance projects
• Follow all safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements always
