Job summary

Nestlé Health Science is seeking a multiskilled maintenance professional to maintain and troubleshoot process control and automation systems. You will support electrical & automation engineering, assist with capital and process improvement projects, and work night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:30am with a $3.00/hr differential.

The role requires strong Electrical and automation troubleshooting skills, knowledge of PLCs/HMI, and experience with control systems and safety circuits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year Technical/Associate Degree in Electronics Technology or three years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with automation systems for building, facility, packaging, utility, and process controls preferred.
• Experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 and/or Siemens TIA Portal preferred.
• Experience with HMI systems (FactoryTalk View, InTouch, ArchestrA) preferred.
• ISA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document electrical and automation platforms, equipment and unplanned machine stops.
• Understand factory processes (Industrial Services, Quality, etc.).
• Analyze performance data to reduce unplanned stops on electrical and automation equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve plant KPIs (safety, quality, cost, service) in E&A systems.
• Assist with maintenance troubleshooting and line maintenance as needed.
• Ensure reliable operation of systems like Utility Management, Energy Management, Quality Control, SPC, and QMS by cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide electrical and automation training for technicians and operators.
• Support automation obsolescence program and capital/process improvement teams.
• Participate in Pillar Activities and maintain KPIs.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting with maintenance/Operations and complete Preventative Maintenance as needed.
