Job summary

Nammo Defense Systems, Inc. in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a Controls Technician to design, program, and troubleshoot automation systems on the manufacturing floor. You will build panels, program PLC/HMI/SCADA, and collaborate with maintenance, engineers, IT, and tooling teams.

This hands-on role requires learning and staying current with automation tech. Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial controls, experience with Allen-Bradley, Automation Direct, Siemens Step 7, and AutoCAD electrical

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Controls Technician in an industrial setting.
• Experience with PLC and HMI programming on multiple platforms.
• Knowledge of NFPA79 and safety system design.
• Ability to read and create AutoCAD electrical schematics.
• Authorized to work in the United States; ATF license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and building small to mid-sized automation projects.
• Troubleshoot, program, and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Support automated manufacturing equipment implementation.
• Build and wire panels.
• Generate electrical schematic sketches/drawings.
• Travel up to 10%.
• Strictly adhere to safety policies and procedures.
