Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Technician II to perform startup, commissioning, testing, integration, troubleshooting, and support of automation systems at customer sites. You will work with PLC/SCADA systems and field equipment, with independence to resolve routine issues and escalate when needed.

Expect local travel up to 50% with some overnight stays; 100% travel may be required based on project needs. Competitive pay with bonuses is offered in a global automation environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education in controls or related field.
• Typically 2+ years of experience in startup, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Execute startup, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting tasks at sites.
• Verify operation from drawings and documentation; document results and issues.
• Coordinate with engineers, customers and partners for project success.
• Communicate risks and safety concerns early and clearly.
• Record field conditions, test results, and corrective actions accurately.
