Thermo Systems is seeking a Controls Technician II to perform startup, commissioning, testing, integration, troubleshooting, and support of automation systems at customer and project sites in the Greater Washington D.C. area.

The role requires understanding PLC/SCADA, field equipment, and related systems, with up to 50% local travel and some overnight stays. 2+ years of relevant experience and appropriate technical education are expected.

Formación

• Relevant technical education in controls, automation, electrical, electronics, or related field.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% locally with overnight stays.

Responsabilidades

• Independently complete startup, commissioning, testing, integration, troubleshooting tasks.
• Verify operation using drawings, procedures, and system information.
• Evaluate how problems or changes affect overall system operation.
• Independently diagnose and resolve routine field and controls problems.
• Document field conditions and test results clearly and completely.
• Coordinate field work with technicians, engineers, customers, and partners.
