Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Controls Technician II to startup, commission, test, and support automation systems at customer sites in the Greater Washington DC area. You will independently handle routine field work with limited direction, coordinating with teams and customers to ensure successful startup and operation.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in controls with the ability to read drawings, troubleshoot PLC/SCADA networks, and communicate risks clearly.

Formación

• Relevant technical education in controls, automation, electrical, electronics, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience with startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.

Responsabilidades

• Independently complete defined startup, commissioning, testing, integration, troubleshooting and corrective-work assignments.
• Verify operation using drawings, procedures, and system information; identify deviations.
• Apply understanding of PLC and SCADA systems to evaluate effects of changes on operation.
• Troubleshoot routine issues, identify causes, correct them, and escalate when needed.
• Document field conditions, test results, actions taken, and follow-up needs.
