Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Control Systems Technician to support field installations and service of control systems. The role requires travel to client locations for installations, maintenance, or repairs of control systems, and collaboration with project leads and leadership.

Ideal candidates have AVEVA System Platform experience and 2+ years in control systems, with a strong emphasis on wiring, FATs, and IT/network understanding relevant to control system integration.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering/tech related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years industry experience in control systems preferred.
• Proven track record: 2+ years as Control System Technician or equivalent.
• Experience with AVEVA System Platform and AVEVA Historian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, start-up and commissioning of control systems.
• Perform instrument loop checks and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot and repair control systems; lead FATs.
• Wire instruments and panels; interpret P&ID and wiring diagrams.
• Document work accurately and follow QMS procedures.
