Job summary

Thermo Systems LLC is seeking a Control System Engineer to work on control system projects, leading hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installationsupport. You will listen, take direction, and seek guidance from project leads and company leadership.

Education typically requires a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, with 2+ years total experience and 1–3 years in a related role.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with relevant experience.
• Typically 2+ years total experience in control systems.
• 1–3 years as a Control System Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Displays electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Lead and guide project members during installation, start-up, and commissioning.
• Lead FAT activities and testing.
• Read and interpret piping & instrumentation diagrams and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrate understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Follow and apply the company's QMS.
• Provide instrumentation specifications for basic control systems.
• Coordinate IT/network considerations for control systems.
