Job summary

Thermo Systems seeks an experienced Control System Engineer to lead hardware and software design, development, integration, testing, and installation support on control projects. You will read P&ID and wiring diagrams, lead FATs, and coordinate with project leads, supervisors, and leadership on-site.

Travel up to 50% may be required. The role requires a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, 2+ years of related experience, and a proven track record in control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus relevant experience.
• Typically 2+ years total experience.
• Proven track record: 1-3 years as Control System Engineer or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Display electrical and mechanical system troubleshooting skills.
• Lead installation, start-up, and commissioning efforts.
• Perform FATs and read P&ID and wiring diagrams.
• Demonstrate understanding of HMI and PLC applications.
• Provide customer-focused support and field leadership.
• Collaborate with project leads and management on scope and schedules.
• Maintain adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS).
