Job Details

1. Shift: 1st shift. Primarily Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm but subject to change based on business needs.
2. This role supports our AmerisourceBergen business, offering supply chain services to healthcare providers and health systems in the U.S.
3. Under general supervision of the Systems Manager, responsible for supporting the effective use and functionality of automated equipment within a fully automated Distribution Center, while mentoring technician associates. The role involves diagnosing electrical control issues, programming basic changes to PLC controllers, troubleshooting communication issues, and operating and diagnosing all chill water plant systems including chillers, cooling towers, boilers, pumps, BAS, HVAC, and water treatment.
4. Responsibilities include ensuring effective preventative maintenance, diagnosing and repairing equipment errors, overseeing system upgrades, assessing system efficiency, maintaining CMMS/EAM systems, managing spare parts inventory, and working extended hours as needed.
5. Performs related duties as assigned.

Education & Skills

• Requires technical vocational training or equivalent experience, typically at least two years of responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment, ability to read CAD, electrical diagrams, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, including programming PLCs, and operating plant systems.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.

• Salary Range: $56,500 - $83,270 (varies by location)
