Qualifications

• Strong understanding of operations and engineering practices in a JIT manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; organizational and leadership skills.
• Previous manufacturing/engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new model activity and collaborate with customer and R&D.
• Design facilities, order equipment, and oversee project installation on schedule and budget.
• Review facility equipment needs and recommend upgrades.
• Manage machinery installations, preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure plant upgrades are completed per schedule.
• Support production efforts from a technical perspective.
• Develop contingency plans for future issues.
• Conduct time studies and provide feedback to management.
• Troubleshoot current operations to meet goals.
• Support 5S, TPM and Kaizen programs.
• Ensure safe operations.
• Establish and execute a monthly plan.
• Align daily control items with business plan and metrics.
• Execute action items to reduce downtime and costs.
• All other duties as assigned.
