Electrical Automation Services is hiring a Controls Technician for a large commercial bakery in Swedesboro, NJ. You will maintain, troubleshoot and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation and process control systems on high-speed food production lines, and provide technical leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.

This is a 2nd shift, on-site role from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Applicants must live within commutable distance of Swedesboro, NJ and be legally authorized to

Qualifications

• Extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of machine layouts, control drawings, P&IDs, and interconnection diagrams.
• Proficiency with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming, configuration, and troubleshooting software.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, manuals, work orders, and maintenance instructions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Maintain plant electrical, automation, and process control systems for reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical/controls failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards; drive continuous improvement.
