Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Swedesboro, NJ is hiring Controls Technicians to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines. You will train Electro-Mechanics across shifts and lead root cause analyses for electrical and controls equipment failures.

The role requires knowledge of PLCs, drives, networks, and electrical schematics, with weekend availability and strict GMP/safety adherence. On-site employment with shift options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls experience.
• Experience reading layouts, P&IDs, and control drawings.
• Proficiency with Rockwell, Siemens, and Mitsubishi programming software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
