Job summary

NanoXplore is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control professional to oversee production quality, perform inspections, and support ISO/IATF compliance. The role includes audits, PPAP participation, and updating work instructions to ensure accuracy and compliance across all production areas.

The position requires meticulous attention to detail, ability to perform daily inspections, and readiness to back up production roles as needed, while maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform first-off inspections and audits.

Responsibilities

• Production Quality Control and first-off inspections across areas.
• Perform inspections for components shipping to customers and for all production processes.
• Assist with ISO/IATF compliance and PPAPs as needed.
• Create/update work instructions and verify tool quantities and calibration schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure labels match inventory on skids.
• Support production and provide back-up coverage as needed, maintaining safety protocols.

Job description

EY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Production Quality Control
• Perform first-off inspections in all areas
• Perform inspections for all components shipping to Customers
• Perform production audits as needed
• Perform daily dock audits
• Immediately alert any product issues to management
• Take part measurements using various hand tools
• Perform Smoke Time testing
• Quality Assurance
• Assist with ISO and IATF compliance
• Perform needed Quality Management Program audits
• Assist with PPAPs
• Assist with creation/update of work instructions
• Verify correct tools/bits/routers/etc. being used for parts
• Create/track calibrations for all tools
• Monitor Inventory Levels
• Ensure shipping labels match inventory on skid
• Perform periodic inventory audits/inspections
• Production Support
• Provide back-up support for various production roles, when needed.
• Maintain forklift certification
• Support plant safety initiative & maintain safety protocols within all areas of production
• Report any and all issues to a member of management
• Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the RMCAT Employee Handbook
