Position Summary:

The Quality Technician position requires an organized individual with the ability to use measurement equipment for daily tasks and data collection. This role requires measurement of many different parts across the production line. Must have a high emphasis on attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications (include but are not limited to):

• Must work and follow all safety requirements
• Must participate in safety initiatives throughout the plant.

• Must be able to work and lift and handle parts in a safe manner.
• Must be able to work and report test data and non-conformances
• Must be able to show attention to details.
• Must be able to operate Plant software as required.
• Must actively participate in process improvements.
• Must have ability to work well with others.
• Must have good verbal communication skills.
• Must have a record of dependability and good attendance.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, off-shifts, or holidays.

Duties (include but are not limited to):

• Responsible for visual inspection, measurement of parts before and after processing and verifying that quality related tasks are completed for QC department
• Responsible for ensuring the quality department achieves acceptable 5S housekeeping with continuous improvement.
• Responsible to review and ensure the quality testing requirements are completed and followed for customer product testing; identify and report any non-conformances of visual defects and oil application.
• Responsible for ensuring quality lab equipment is running efficiently.
• A positive work environment.
