Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in a technology-centric role within financial services, incl. 5+ years as a dedicated Product Owner in Agile/Scrum.
- Domain Expertise: Risk and Controls, Operational Risk, or Regulatory functions.
- Agile Product Expertise: backlog management, user stories, story maps, agile ceremonies (SAFe preferred).
- Technical Fluency: ability to discuss feasibility with engineering teams.
- Stakeholder Management: strong communication and end-to-end ownership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; MBA a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own and refine the backlog; ensure transparency two sprints ahead.
- Translate requirements into Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
- Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and delivery cycles to remove ambiguity.
- Define solutions with stakeholders and ensure testable acceptance criteria.
- Demonstrate value through demos and gather feedback for iterative improvement.
- Track product performance post-launch to inform future investments.
