Job summary

Citi seeks a Technology Product Owner for Controls Technology to bridge business needs and engineering, translating requirements into Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria for compliant software delivery. This role emphasizes execution, quality, and strong backlog discipline.

You will partner with business stakeholders to elicit requirements, define solutions, and demonstrate value through demos while leading agile ceremonies, managing risks and dependencies, and aligning work with OKRs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technology-centric role within financial services.
• 5+ years as a dedicated, execution-focused Product Owner in Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the backlog, ensuring clarity for at least two sprints ahead.
• Translate complex business requirements into Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
• Lead agile ceremonies and collaborate with engineering, UX, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
• Demonstrate value with demos and track product performance post-launch.
