Rolls-Royce plc seeks a Controls Systems Engineer for a hybrid/onsite role in Indianapolis, IN. You will specify, design and validate complex sub-systems, including software/hardware components, with emphasis on modeling, verification, and risk management to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 1+ years of experience (Master’s or JD/Ph.D. preferred). Relocation is available; 3 days/week in-office work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in a related engineering role.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Engineering or JD/Ph.D.; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Translate high-level requirements into a validated control system design.
• Develop and validate control and instrumentation subsystems.
• Create and review tests to verify system requirements.
