Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a control systems engineer in the United States. You will lead a small software engineering team, perform control systems analysis for power conversion equipment, and support the development of control system designs for new products.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience; a MS is preferred and may reduce experience. Occasional on-site travel is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent four-year degree with 4+ years in control systems design and analysis.
• MS or advanced degree preferred; may reduce experience to 2 years.
• PhD or higher can substitute for professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small software engineering team from design to system integration.
• Perform control systems analysis for power conversion equipment and architectures.
• Develop and document control system designs and customer specifications.
• Implement control systems using MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and embedded languages.
• Provide on-site support at customer sites as needed.
