TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician IV – Controls to lead and support a team of technicians in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing building automation systems across commercial and industrial facilities.
You will install, program, test, and troubleshoot advanced control systems, read blueprints and schematics, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional customer service and clear project coordination with stakeholders.
The Service Technician IV – Controls serves as a lead and front-line resource to other service technicians by providing technical support, training, and guidance. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on building automation and control systems. Ensures system functionality, efficiency, and integration in commercial and industrial environments while supporting safety, compliance, and operational standards.
High School Diploma or GED is a minimum requirement. Two-year technical degree in related field is preferred.
Tridium AX/N4, Distech, Siemens, and Siemens Desigo Certification.
Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Service Technician.
Required: Fundamentals of A/C electrical circuits and low voltage D/C electrical circuits and operation. Required: Hands on experience with one or more controls platforms (Siemens, Distech, JCI, Inet, etc.). Required: Access controls and lighting controls installations and programming skills. Required: Advanced controls programming and troubleshooting skills. Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and device data sheets. Must have ability to use testing and metering devices. Familiar with Windows operating systems and software. Professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills with good written and oral communication capability. Demonstrates strong business ethics at all times.
