Dematic in Plano, TX, seeks a Controls Project Engineer to lead engineering deliverables from kick-off through customer acceptance. Translate customer requirements into engineering tasks and coordinate across Dematic departments to ensure timely, on-budget, high-quality outcomes.

This role reports to an Engineering leader and partners with Project Management to align resources, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement through technical reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management.
• Exceptional customer focus with strong communication skills.
• Ability to navigate a matrixed global organization and travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer technical requirements into deliverables for engineering teams.
• Identify resources across engineering and external suppliers and assign tasks.
• Ensure quality and alignment to standards across all deliverables.
• Track progress, manage risks, and report on project status and KPIs.
• Lead technical reviews and support risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
