Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Controls Project Engineer to lead engineering deliverables from kick-off through customer acceptance. You will translate customer requirements into defined tasks for engineering and monitor progress to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

You will coordinate with Engineering, CoEs, Software, and external providers, manage resources, track KPIs, and serve as the primary point of contact for project management and suppliers. Travel up to 40% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
• 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results.
• Demonstrated problem solver with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to navigate, influence and operate in a strongly matrixed global organization.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into deliverables for engineering teams (design/layout, emulation, drawings, commissioning).
• Identify resources across engineering teams and external suppliers and assign tasks.
• Ensure high quality of all deliverables per established standards.
• Monitor and resolve issues affecting engineering tasks to avoid project impact.
• Manage project metrics, KPIs, and progress reporting.
• Deliver work packages on time and within budget.
• Act as main liaison for project management, installation, procurement, and suppliers.
