Job summary

Carlo Gavazzi Automation in Rolling Meadows, IL, is seeking a results-oriented Product Manager for the Controls line in the Americas. You will drive revenue growth, develop regional marketing plans, and coordinate with NSCs to identify market opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years in product management or application engineering within industrial automation, strong understanding of energy management, and willingness to travel up to 35% across the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years in product management or application engineering in industrial/building automation.
• Strong knowledge of automation markets, energy management and/or metering.
• Experience selling to OEMs, panel builders, system integrators, or distributors.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the commercial growth strategy for the Controls product line across the Americas.
• Develop regional marketing and sales plans with NSC leaders.
• Lead new business generation through strategic account penetration and prospecting.
• Build relationships with OEMs, panel builders, system integrators, and high-value prospects.
• Capture Voice of Customer and align solutions with customer objectives.
• Collaborate with IPMs and R&D to shape global product roadmap.
• Drive new product introductions and go-to-market execution.
• Align regional sales teams with clear strategic direction.
• Monitor product line performance and adjust actions to achieve growth.
• Define regional pricing strategy and product positioning.
