Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Maintenance Technician, Controls to support the Plaquemines LNG facility. You will manage DCS/PLC/SIS systems, F&G, analyzer equipment, and work with a team to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance controls at oil & gas or LNG plants, strong electrical standards knowledge, and expertise with Honeywell/Siemens/AB systems. Join a growing North American LNG project in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of maintenance controls experience in oil & gas, LNG, or petrochemical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical industrial standards (ISA, NFPA 70E, FERC).
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting DCS/SIS/PLCs, analyzer and F&G systems.
• Experience with GC analyzer systems (AMADAS) and F&G systems.
• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial network communications.

Responsibilities

• Build configuration control schemes on Honeywell DCS (TDC-3000/C-300).
• Maintain control systems (DCS, PLCs, SIS, F&G) per HSSE standards.
• Prepare and submit permits and safety analyses before work.
• Oversee contractor work and report quality/noncompliance issues.
• Mentor junior peers and provide coaching.
• Participate in commissioning/startup and site readiness activities.
