Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in Control System/Building Automation/Management System service and repair in data center, heavy industrial, or pharmaceutical/biomedical environments.
• Advanced knowledge of data center infrastructure, including HVAC and electrical equipment.
• Certification in one or more PLC/Automation platforms or SCADA platforms (e.g., Niagara N4, Schneider Power Monitoring, Rockwell, Siemens, JCI, Eaton Foreseer) or SCADA platforms (e.g., Iconics, Ignition, Aveva).
• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
• Experience troubleshooting Control Systems and BAS/BMS systems (e.g., Automated Logic, Honeywell, Siemens, Edstrom).
• Familiarity with Building Systems sequence of operations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot building automation and control systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal production interruptions.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain application software and system management tools for automated equipment.
• Provide advanced expertise in servicing HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems within mission-critical environments.
• Participate in the commissioning and validation of programming during construction and system upgrades.
• Perform data integration of equipment using field protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Collaborate with specialized technicians, mechanics, and subcontractors to perform facility-related maintenance and repairs.
• Mentor and train less experienced technicians, providing instruction and technical guidance as needed.
• Oversee and monitor all components of site infrastructure to ensure operational integrity and compliance with safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with site management, customers, and remote/local support personnel to resolve complex system issues.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including hand tools, laptop computers, and diagnostic hardware.
• Assist senior engineers with cost estimates, project scope reviews, and evaluation of change orders from vendors.
• Assign tasks and coordinate with technical staff, providing on-the-job training and technical direction.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and safety guidelines, including job hazard analysis and lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Certification in one or more PLC/Automation platforms (e.g., Niagara N4, Schneider Power Monitoring, Rockwell, Siemens, JCI, Eaton Foreseer) or SCADA platforms (e.g., Iconics, Ignition, Aveva).
