Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Controls Hardware Engineer in Alpharetta, GA to design, develop, test, and maintain control software for gas turbine systems. Qualifications

• Design and develop control system hardware for power plants.
• Experience with DCS/PLC hardware and I/O types is required.
• Familiarity with third‑party connectivity: DNP 3.0, Modbus, IEC 61850, TCP/IP, Profibus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control system hardware for power plants.
• Review customer specifications and determine project deliverables and risks.
• Evaluate DCS for new and modernization installations; prepare IO lists.
