This role involves leading pre-construction estimating efforts for HVAC control systems, ensuring accuracy in proposals for new construction and retrofit projects. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in estimating and know major control platforms like Distech and Tridium. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience estimating Building Automation / Controls projects.
• Experience with one major controls platform: Distech, Tridium, or Delta Controls.
• Strong understanding of BACnet systems, HVAC control strategies.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proficiency in estimating software required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed takeoffs from construction drawings.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for automation systems.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor installation quotes.
• Prepare detailed proposals outlining scope of work.
• Identify project risks and coordination issues.

Skills
