Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in the building automation industry.
• 1+ year of commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience with project cost estimation, including material and labor costs.
• Understanding of mechanical systems control design.

Responsibilities

• Choose appropriate sensors and valves for projects.
• Develop job markups and capture costs for materials.
• Coordinate with installation partners for competitive quotes.
• Engage with MEP design engineers and contractors.
• Lead meetings to finalize estimated costs.
• Assist sales team in preparing bid proposals.
• Maintain organized project files.

Skills

Estimating experience in the building automation industry

DDC controls system estimating

Commercial HVAC experience
