Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a skilled on-site technician to install, configure and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems across packaging lines. You will work with photo eyes, proximity sensors, limit switches, and I/O modules, while supporting 480V 3-phase power and servo drives.

Responsibilities include HMI/PLC programming, ladder logic changes, and regular preventive maintenance on conveyors and production equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with PLCs and servo systems required.
• Experience with packaging equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout and confined spaces safety preferred.
• Willing to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC I/O modules and wiring.
• Troubleshoot analog and digital controls in 480V, 3-phase power distribution systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot encoders and load cells.
• Program and troubleshoot PLC and HMI interfaces; ladder logic modifications as needed.
• Diagnose communication protocols including Profibus, serial and industrial Ethernet.
• Perform preventive maintenance on Laser Guided Vehicles, conveyors and production equipment.

Job description

Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift, Overtime (1.5) after 40 hours and double time after 48 hours. 10 paid holidays, PTO upon start, regular and irregular raises based on performance.Duties:Perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input/output modules, and all associated control wiring.Provide troubleshooting expertise of analog and digital controls with 480V, 3 phase power distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and soft starts.Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices encoders, and load cells.Programming and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI interfaces.Perform configuration and logic modifications to PLC control systems.
