Job summary

Saigepartners is seeking a skilled Controls, Automation & Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing maintenance team on the 3rd shift in Lathrop, CA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial automation and electrical systems to support high-speed production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial automation, electrical maintenance, or controls.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and programming Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with HMIs, VFDs, instrumentation, motion control, and electrical schematics.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, wiring, sensors, motors, instrumentation, and control devices.
• Support equipment installations, automation upgrades, commissioning, and process improvement initiatives.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including FDA requirements where applicable.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and work order records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues and improve system performance.

Location: Onsite, Lathrop, CA

Shift: 3rd Shift | Alternative Work Schedule | 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Compensation: Starting at $38.50/hour (including shift differential) + additional pay based on experience

Position Overview

The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and industrial controls, along with a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, and automated manufacturing equipment.
