Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Controls Engineering Intern to support design, programming, testing and commissioning of control systems. You will work with the Controls Lead and team to meet project objectives, and create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.

Travel will be 50-75% overnight, with expenses covered. Applicant must be pursuing an engineering degree and able to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor degree in engineering.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and high attention to detail.
• PLC experience from coursework or internship; able to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of engineering for Toyota Automated Logistics projects.
• Design, program, test and commission controls systems with the team.
• Collaborate with Controls Lead and engineers to meet project goals.
• Develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical and maintain documentation.
• Communicate effectively with engineers and other teams; support multiple projects.
