Job summary

Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Controls Engineering Intern to support all phases of engineering for our logistics systems. You will design, program, test, and commission components while coordinating with the Controls Lead and engineers to meet project objectives.

The role involves hands-on work with AutoCAD Electrical, close collaboration with the Controls team, and frequent interaction with manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Strong troubleshooting skills are required.
• Strong programming skills are required.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Must read schematics/electrical prints and have electrical/mechanical aptitude.
• Eligible to work in USA long term without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with controls engineers to understand design and coding requirements.
• Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical.
• Communicate effectively with engineers and controls team.
• Multi-task across multiple projects while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Support engineering and manufacturing teams and pitch in where needed.
