SPX Technologies is seeking a 2027 summer intern to join the Technical Services/Controls Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience supporting electrical control systems, product development, and technical service operations. This internship is ideal for students pursuing Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist with reviewing and interpreting product specifications and BOMs to ensure accuracy and alignment with engineering requirements.
• Support the development and testing of control product solutions, including reviewing application limits, drafting documentation, and participating in product improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and sourcing teams to help qualify vendors, track compliance with electrical codes and standards, and maintain strong cross-functional communication.
• Contribute to technical training and support materials, including product manuals, reference guides, and resources for both internal teams and external customers.
• Gain exposure to new product introduction (NPI) processes, control system design, and customer-focused solutions that integrate with broader SPX product offerings.
