Job summary

Energy Management Collaborative is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to implement advanced Smart Building control solutions for national accounts. You will collaborate with field teams and multiple departments to deliver ROI-driven projects, integrating diverse building control systems and developing local stations that maximize energy savings.

The role requires strong HVAC/lighting knowledge, proficiency in Niagara-based systems, and hands-on experience with BMS interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 5+ years in building automation or controls engineering.
• Experience with Niagara software and at least one controls platform.
• Experience integrating building management systems and IoT concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems for projects.
• Produce installation and commissioning documentation.
• Create sequence of operations and point lists.
• Program local stations and SOPS for BMS interfaces.
• Assist with system integration and ensure regulatory compliance.
