Job summary

Auria is a leading global supplier of engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical and thermal solutions. A Controls Engineer is needed at our Holmesville, OH plant to advance machine controls, robotics, and vision applications.

You will work with OEMs to ensure safety and standards across equipment, and support injection molding systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in engineering, strong PLC/HMI experience, CAD skills, and the ability to read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

BS/BA in engineering is required.
5+ years in engineering or manufacturing.
Experience with Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens and Omron PLC/HMI systems.
Ability to read electrical schematic drawings and CAD layouts.
Knowledge of machine controls, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

Update, modify and improve existing controls systems including robotic programs and ladder logic.
Design and develop new machine controls for robotics, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vision applications.
Coordinate with engineering and maintenance to keep equipment functional and production running.
Ensure integration of barcode scanners/cameras into PLC control systems.
Provide electrical support for injection molding presses and robotics.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement improvements.
