Job summary

Dauch Corporation in North Vernon, IN is seeking a Controls Engineer to evaluate and implement control systems for manufacturing equipment, including Allen-Bradley PLCs, servo controllers, and HMI products.

You will design test procedures for safety compliance, prepare electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings, audit equipment, troubleshoot, and drive process improvements, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in electrical drawings, ladder logic, and HMI programs.
• Experience with Safety PLC control systems for machinery and automation.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, servo controllers, HMI products, and software.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate control systems, products, components, and applications.
• Design/test procedures to verify safety compliance.
• Prepare and review electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control drawings with related teams.
• Ensure data integrity and maintain process documentation.
• Perform periodic audits, troubleshoot breakdowns, and implement improvements.
• Manage supplier development and delivery.
