Dauch Corporation is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our on-site team in Rochester, Indiana. The role focuses on designing, testing, installing, and maintaining complex control systems for manufacturing, with emphasis on safety compliance and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial automation, hands-on PLC programming (Siemens/AB), robotics familiarity (Fanuc/ABB), and experience with HMI/SCADA and industrial networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of controls engineering in industrial automation.
• Electrical experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Fanuc and ABB robotics.
• Hands-on Siemens/Allen Bradley PLC programming and Fanuc CNC troubleshooting.
• Experience with HMI/SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and other industrial networks.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.
• Willingness to work all shifts including overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large-scale control systems.
• Ensure safety compliance and validate control system functionality.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on components, materials, and vendors.
• Maintain project documents and support manufacturing operations.
