Job summary

Pridgeon and Clay Inc. seeks a Controls Engineer to design, program, troubleshoot, and validate machine controls for our automotive stamping and related equipment.

You will work with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to ensure electrical integrity and adherence to quality policies. The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, PLC programming experience, and the ability to read complex drawings.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with electrical maintenance on equipment.
• Read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings.
• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct/coordinate machine debug, power-up and validation with build teams.
• Program and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic controls for new machines.
• Ensure equipment meets build specifications and update documentation.
• Develop plans to keep hardware/software up-to-date and handle obsolescence.
