Job summary
Clarios is seeking an engineer to drive continuous improvement of plant processes and equipment, including PLC changes, documentation, and Six Sigma initiatives. You will lead project teams, support maintenance, and collaborate with division engineering to implement process changes.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Engineering, PLC experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/SolidWorks; familiarity with robotics is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment (internship in industry preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience with PLC programming and ladder logic.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, PowerPoint, and related programs.
Responsibilities
- Improve plant processes and equipment; design and implement PLC changes as needed.
- Lead plant teams in development of process improvements and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Provide technical support for maintenance, capital projects, and Six Sigma rollout.
- Coordinate with division engineering to communicate needs and project reporting.
- Monitor new equipment performance; implement capital and non-capital projects.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet quality and engineering standards.
