Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Fairless Hills, PA seeks an Associate Controls Engineer to support PLC/HMI/SCADA projects. You will contribute to engineering design, programming, commissioning, and documentation across multiple industries.

This role requires hands-on experience with PLCs (AB, Siemens), HMI/SCADA systems, and instrumentations, plus a willingness to travel up to 35%. A BS in engineering and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in engineering or related discipline; technical degree and experience may substitute

Responsibilities

• Perform controls engineering design, development, and implementation including software and hardware
• Program ladder logic, HMI graphics, and instrumentation configurations
• Support factory/site acceptance testing, user training, and commissioning
• Read and interpret PFDs, P&IDs, and control documents
• Develop project work plans and track progress against deadlines
• Interface with customers during project implementation
• Ensure compliance with regulations, codes, and standards
• Contribute to methodology, templates, and knowledge sharing
