Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, an ESOP-owned engineering firm, is seeking an Associate Controls Engineer for its St. Louis office. You will design and implement PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions, develop control logic, and create wiring schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering, BS Chemical Engineering, BS Mechanical Engineering or BS Computer Engineering preferred.
• AA in Engineering Technology or equivalent may be substituted.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement control systems (logic software and hardware) to meet requirements.
• Develop control logic software and user interface applications.
• Develop schematics detailing control system configuration and wiring; design equipment panels in AutoCAD.
• Assist with initial start-up and debugging of integrated systems; develop system documentation.
• Work on automation and control system integration projects for pharmaceutical/biotech, water/wastewater, data centers, etc.
