Job summary

Hydrite seeks a Controls Engineer to design, program, commission, and sustain plant control systems (DeltaV, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs) across facilities. You will ensure reliable data collection, maintain system standards, and support safety and efficiency in operations.

The role collaborates with operations, maintenance, and IT/OT teams, leads changes through the MOC process, and provides training and technical mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline required.
• 3–5 years of experience with instrumentation and control systems.
• Minimum 1 year interfacing with contractors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, commission, and support plant control systems (DeltaV, PLCs, SCADA, HMIs).
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize control systems for safety and reliability.
• Lead control system changes via the MOC process and meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain standards and cybersecurity practices for controls.
• Support capital projects from design through startup and handoff.
• Serve as a technical resource across multiple facilities.
• Configure and support historians and data visibility for decision making.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and IT/OT teams.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvements.
• Provide technical training and mentorship to teams.
