Job summary

Invio Automation, a Michigan-based leader in Industry 4.0, seeks a Controls Engineer to design and integrate industrial control systems for precision manufacturing. You will work with AutoCAD, PLC/HMI software, and Siemens components to deliver safe, efficient automation solutions.

The role requires strong drawing interpretation, hands-on troubleshooting, and collaboration with mechanical teams. Travel up to 80% across the US, Canada and Mexico is expected.

Qualifications

Design and troubleshoot control systems for industrial applications.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
Experience with AutoCAD, RSLogix 5000 and EPLAN preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel up to 80% within US, Canada and Mexico.

Responsibilities

Design complete controls systems for industrial applications with AutoCAD, Allen Bradley, PLC/HMI Software and Siemens; EPLAN a plus, not required.
Support manufacturing resources, troubleshoot and debug systems.
Provide onsite support to customers as needed.
Collaborate with mechanical design team to modify or create controls schemes.
Travel within the continental US, Canada and Mexico up to 80%.
