Job summary
manpowe seeks a seasoned Controls Engineer to support production line controls, PLC programming, and automation initiatives in Detroit, MI. You will design and maintain control systems, troubleshoot PLC/CNC/HMI, and work with mechanical and electrical teams to enable seamless integration of automation solutions.
Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial automation, strong Siemens PLC experience, and a proven track record in improving throughput and equipment reliability on manufacturing
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Control Systems engineering or related field.
- 5+ years in controls engineering, industrial automation, or manufacturing.
- Strong experience with PLC programming, preferably Siemens.
- Knowledge of HMI systems, industrial networks, and schematics.
- Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide production line support for controls logic, PLC and NC programming.
- Design, implement, and maintain control systems for automated processes.
- Troubleshoot PLC, CNC, and HMI systems for optimal performance.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate automation.
- Support continuous improvement projects for throughput and reliability.
