Job summary

Invio Automation, a Michigan-based leader in Industry 4.0, seeks a Controls Engineer to design industrial control systems and assembly tools. You will apply electrical/pneumatic theory, interpret wiring diagrams, and collaborate with customers to deliver robust automation solutions.

The role requires a degree in electrical technology and PLC programming expertise, with travel up to 80% across the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical technology or related field; minimum 3 years related experience.
• At least 2 years of experience managing multiple projects.
• At least 3 years of PLC programming experience; Siemens and Allen Bradley knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design complete controls systems for industrial applications using AutoCAD, PLC/HMI software, and Siemens or Allen Bradley tools.
• Provide onsite support and remote troubleshooting for customers.
• Coordinate with mechanical design team to modify or create new controls systems.
• Travel within the continental US, Canada and Mexico up to 80%.
• Other duties as assigned.
