Job summary

Amphenol Printed Circuit Board Technology seeks a controls engineer to design and maintain control systems that optimize PCB manufacturing processes. You will develop equipment to monitor efficiency, test designs, and program control interfaces for performance authorization.

The role requires 2–4 years in a controls/automation role, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of HMI programming. Experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens is a plus in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Systems Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with CAD tools is required.
  • Knowledge of HMI programming.
  • 2–4 years in a controls/automation role.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain control systems to optimize PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Develop equipment to monitor and control engineering system efficiency.
  • Test, analyze, and monitor designs for quality and functionality.
  • Program and configure control interfaces to authorize performance.
  • Perform maintenance and updates on control systems and machines.
  • Troubleshoot control systems and components for quality and safety.
  • Collaborate across departments for system integration.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities and document procedures.
