Rauch Associates, Inc. in the United States is seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to optimize automated manufacturing lines in Northeast Mississippi.

You will design electrical and robotic upgrades, troubleshoot complex line issues, and manage capital projects from bids through budgets. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Engineering with 7+ years in automation, strong Siemens PLC (TIA Portal) experience, and familiarity with FANUC/Cognex systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required); Master's or MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of automation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Extensive Siemens PLC experience, with TIA Portal.
• Experience with Profibus, Profisafe, Safety Integrated and ASI-Bus.
• FANUC robots and vision, Cognex vision and Atlas Copco tools (strongly preferred).
• Ability to create/read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and roll out changes to electrical, robotic and PLC equipment to improve uptime and reliability.
• Lead troubleshooting on machining lines, including major maintenance and emergency repairs.
• Run capital projects: solicit bids, select suppliers, manage schedules and budgets.
• Review designs for manufacturing feasibility and check machine documentation completeness.
• Lead and mentor technicians and other engineers.
